Japanese man arrested for having autonomous Digg robot [I Heart Tech]

Okay, so I’m no expert on Japanese law, but since when is rigging Digg against the law anywhere? I have a feeling that this is either a) bullshit or b) the guy was arrested for something else and the cops just happened to find this in his house, since this is an incredibly cool but inefficient way of auto-Digging, since you could do it with software.
