90s awesome cartoon flashback: Mutilator, Hero of the Wasteland [I Heart TV]

As MTV was moving out of music and into crappy reality TV and exclusive non-music programming, there was Liquid Television, a showcase of raw, independent and wacky cartoons. One of the lesser known of these was Mutilator, an awesome 80s-post-apocalypse-retro toon done by Eric Fogel, creator of The Head and Celebrity Deathmatch. But it was Mutilator, with its intentionally awful style that resembled doodles on the back of a 12 year old boy’s spiral notebook, its campy dialogue and awesomely awful metal soundtrack that was the true genius of them all.
