Barack Obama is looking for a few good tech geeks [Politics Suck]

Very recently, an interesting job opening appeared on Obama’s campaign website– he’s looking to hire the best and brightest programmers and network and security engineers to help develop SkyNet… er… or the largest online grassroots voter initiative ever.
From the job posting:
This six-month opportunity will allow you to:
-Create software tools which will enable an unprecedented nationwide voter contact and mobilization effort
-Help build and run the largest online, grassroots fundraising operation in the history of American politics
-Introduce cutting-edge social networking and online organizing to the democratic process by empowering everyday people to participate on My.BarackObama
You must have at least 5 years web development experience as well as extensive experience in PHP, MySQL, LAMP, web and user interface design and you must be willing to relocate to Boston temporarily to work in Obama’s super secret network compound thing.
It’s interesting to see what shape this will take, considering the incredibly tech savvy Obama has already built the largest online grassroots fundraising operation. And considering he’s the darling of tech geeks from Silicon Valley to MIT, he should snag some pretty impressive talent. Do you have what it takes?
