Chuck Taylors are awesome and comfortable and iconic and sometimes they just need a little extra TLC beyond what you get out of the box. You can paint them, cover them in crystals, make sandals out of them. Or you can replace the canvas uppers with a comfy knit.

Snuffykins has a pattern on her LiveJournal for knitting a size 8 women’s high top. Apparently the fit is a little loose, but it can be accomodated the make it more snug.
