Google Street View sabatoge [I Heart Internets]
Many people have expressed privacy concerns over Google’s Street View, which is pretty fucking stupid really in my opinion and I’m just psyched that the Raleigh / Durham / Cary area of NC has recently been street view’d. But some clever bastards in Alaska have realized that all it takes is a plastic shopping bag to hide your street from Google’s prying eyes.
You can see the plastic bag over the car-mounted Google camera here in its native environment while it’s still up right here (or if it comes down, you can always look at the header image above and imagine how awesome it used to be).
Those wacky Alaskans, though, they are too damned bored to stop with a plastic bag. Someone also put some sort of plastic or bubble wrap on a Google camera, which you can see here.
