In this video from the British show, Braniac, we learn why microwaving an ostrich egg is a really bad idea. The giant eggs build up so much pressure under their thick shells when microwaved that what you essentially get is a gigantic egg bomb that will reduce your microwave to shrapnel. Awesome.
