Banksy pulls off an incredibly ballsy piece of graffiti under the eye of CCTVs [Operation MF]

British graffiti artist Banksy, whose incredible street art, art pranks and mysterious persona have made him the Andy Warhol, Elvis and Ken Kesey of the modern art world has struck again– this time in Central London with a three-story high piece, all done right under the eye of a CCTV camera.
In the past year, Banksy has had his name in the news for things like sneaking his own art into the Louvre and visiting Palestine to paint on the concret barriers that separate Israel from the Palestinean lands. But his start came painting wickedly poignent stencil graffiti on the walls of south England and so he’s returned to protest London’s watchful eye in a big way.
London is the most videoed place on earth, with a CCTV camera every few yards. While some have applauded this as an effective crime-fighting measure, many more have expressed concerns over privacy, feeling they are living in a Big Brother world.
So in a single night, Banksy managed to erect a three story scaffold, cover it in tarp, paint his largest graffiti piece to date, that reads ONE NATION UNDER CCTV and take the scaffold down before morning– even as city officials passed by unaware.
