50’s Spanish sci-fi pulp novel art [Art]

Sci fi and fantasy book cover art is certainly in a league of its own, but it’s always cool to see how other cultures other than US or Canadian English speaking artists interpret the weird and wonderful stories. Trying to come up with an illustration for a book cover is tough– you have to not only get across an appealing, marketable idea of what the book is about in a single picture, but it has to be something that speaks to the local audience.
