Sometimes there’s nothing so fun as laughing at the generations before us at how so very wrong their predictions were of the future.  Like here, where the idea that people will be wearing electric belts to moderate their temperature or idiotic sci-fi utility belts seems to be reasonable, whereas the notion that most women won’t wear skirts in the year 2000 is scoffed at. Poppycock I say!
