Website review: Mustaches of the Nineteenth Century [I Heart Internets]

Some say that the nineteenth century was the Golden Age of facial hair. All one has to do is look at Civil War photos, pictures of our esteemed US presidents of the nineteenth and the dukes of Europe to realize that the mastery of the humble mustache has not been rivaled before or since.
If you can’t get enough of spectacular ’staches, Mustaches of the Nineteenth Century is your key to stachegasm. All the greats are here, with commentary and adoration as are little known wearers of fabulous mustaches. Bone up on your mustache (and muttonchop sideburn) history because one day when the mighty mustache makes a comeback, you’ll be prepared. But imagine, if you will, how handsome and noble our current presidents would look with mustaches– Bill Clinton with a nice Chester A. Arthur mustache-sideburn wraparound or George W. Bush with a dapper overhand twist.
