Leonardo DiCaprio in a live-action Akira remake? Tetsuoooooooo!!! [I Heart Movies]

I would be bleeding out of my eyeballs with joy at the thought of a decent live-action remake of Akira… but the news that Leonardo DiCaprio has been cast in such a movie?  I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

With all the strength of computer technology we have available now, I’m sure that no matter who’s in an live-action Akira movie will be visually mind-blowing, and next summer’s blockbuster will be drawing off of Katsuhiro Otomo’s original manga.

One of the best parts of a live action Akira movie? Severly cool-ass motorcycles.
