Get these cats out of my house plzthx [Misc.]

Editorial Misc.

Recently, my wife has been into adopting rescued cats and fostering cats up for adoption. Fortunately, we have a spare room in the house that is good for getting stinked up. And fostering 5 cats can stink up a room pretty quickly.

crazicat.jpgShe emailed me a picture of this here cute thing to your right, which is not one of the 5 cats we’re currently fostering until they get homes. And you don’t have to foster a cat– which can take up quite a bit of time, gas and resources, but if you’re looking for a cat, whether a kitten or an adult , adopting rescues is always a feel-good thing to do.

When my wife started doing this, I was thinking we would get a bunch of surly, mangy street urchins, but every single one of the cats we’ve fostered so far has been incredibly nice and people-friendly. So adopt a fucking cat. Do it now.

Here’s a link to Petfinder, where you can find pets waiting to be adopted in your area, or you can use the Google and find shelters and rescues and shit closer by.

And if you’re in the Raleigh-Durham area and you’d like to adopt, use the contact link at the top of the page and maybe, just maybe I’ll let you come and see one.
