Mrs. Butterworth’s commercials always freaked me out as a kid, especially the ones with the vapid Village of the Damn children like this one. What makes the whole Mrs.Butterworth fear even worse is if you’ve ever seen a bottle of the stuff smashed on the floor of a supermarket, the thick old woman bleeding her quasi-maple syrup from every orifice– oooh, I just got shivers.
