There was a magical point in time when all you had to do to sell anything– anything– was to somehow tie it to the Space Race and space exploration. Including selling cat food in aluminum pouches to kids. Behold, Space Food Sticks: The energy food developed by Pillsbury under a government contract in support of the US Aerospace program (it says it on the box!)
