GI Joe on the Big Screen [I Heart Movies]

With shooting set to start next month on the big-screen adaptation of the adventures of Hasbro’s little plastic articulated warriors, it’s been confirmed that Channing Tatum will be filling the boots of Duke, despite previous rumors that Mark Wahlburg would be sporting the blonde buzzcut. I don’t know who the hell Channing Tatum is, but I Googled him and he looks like a Dawson’s Creek pussy.

But I digress… the rest of the confirmed cast so far is Sienna Miller, Ray Park, Rachel Nichols, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Said Taghmaoui, Marlon Wayans and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Never heard of her but she is playing the Baroness, Darth Maul (as Snake Eyes), some hottie playing Scarlett, nope, nope, Marlon Wayons WTF, whatever. I just hope Wayans isn’t playing Cobra Commander.

Okay, so they’ve got a couple really hot chicks in the GI Joe movie but what ever happened to casting people in movies that look like normal people and don’t look like they just rolled off the set of a teen soap opera?
